Traveling Stories: Lessons from the Journey of Life

Traveling Stories is now available in ebook form on Kindle, Apple devices, Nook, and most other e-readers.  The price is $17.95 and the best way to search is to type in Terri Clements Dean.

Life is a journey.  My journey has taken me to a new adventure, the exciting and sometimes scary world of taking my work out into the world.  The book is out, people are reading it, and I am having conversations with some of them about that. How marvelous to be connecting with people in this new way.  People ask the most amazing questions and their questions are pushing me to think about new things or old things in a new way.  I am astonished.  Thank you, life.

As the title suggests, this book is a collection of stories from my own life, from my travels, and stories shared with me by clients and friends about some of the ways that life’s lessons make their ways to us — in the small things, in the unexpected, in the ordinary and in the struggles.  These lessons are offered freely and abundantly.  All we have to do is be honest, pay attention, trust the process, and work hard at what we learn.

Once again, I am learning life’s lessons.

Traveling Stories Journal: A Guide to Discovering Your Own Life Lessons

I’m delighted to announce that the companion book to Traveling Stories: Lessons from the Journey of Life, is available NOW.  You can find it on Amazon and at The Book Loft on Centre Street, Fernandina Beach, FL, the best indie bookstore ever.  The price is $19.95.

Excerpt from the introduction:  “It is my hope that working through this journal will enlarge and enliven your relationship with yourself and with your life.” It’s meant to help people listen to their own stories and pull from them all the deep wisdom they contain. I really believe that the cure for what ails you begins with telling your story, and that each of us has a story to tell that’s important for others to hear.

So, my hope is that this workbook will help people do that.  Plus it really is a pretty book. I can say that because other people made it so….thank you to my wonderful designers.

Maya Angelou, A Letter to My Daughter

Don’t miss this book or any of her books.  You will be better, and happier, and you will have hope — for yourself and for us, the humans. When I’m sad, or lonely, or discouraged, I just find a YouTube of Ms. Angelou reading a poem and I am able to go on.
